As part of our service to the society, The Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Elite organized as its first project on the very first day with the Vibrant concept of Plantation at Desk on 1st July, 2019 at HK Avenue, 19 Swastik Society, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad at 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
CONCEPT:
The concept was adopted focused on a corporate lifestyle and the theme as given by the DG-3054 regarding green drive to be conducted between 1-5th July. The said miniature desk plants will help in avoid wastage of potable water in a routine day. It is also considered that even a small plant will act as a natural air purifier in a work place, where one spends most of his day. The same is an ornamental plant to bring in aesthetic décor, as well as will help
one distress and bring in harmony and luck.
THE PROJECT:
The project was undertaken at the official address for RC Ahmadabad Elite and was conducted by MPhF. Dr. Rajesh Acharya (Charter President) and Rtn. Ms. Pooja Acharya (Club Secretary, 2019-20). All members and President of Club were invited for the event. Invitation was also forwarded through online support to Respected AG and Respected DG for the same. We are thankful to our AG Rtn. Mr. Tarapore for having visited the project and compliments, encouragements given to us.
In total 50 plants of Sansevieria family were donated to volunteers and supporters to nurture further.
