Dear Fellow Rotarians,
The Club has organized a quiz competition for school kids at Mammatpura
prathmik shala to celebrate and enlighten Gandhian thoughts to the new
genenration.
THE CONCEPT:
To celebrate the occasion of 150th Gandhi Jayanti, it seems necessary that the
coming generation must be aware of Gandhian philosophy and lifestyle of the
Father of Nation. To do the same, we have organized a quiz competition on
the Gandhi in teams to teach the lessons of Gandhi, to make children learn
team efforts and confidence. The winners and all other participants were also
rewarded for their hardwork.
THE PROJECT:
We have organized a quiz competioon wherein students were divided in
teams namely "Sardar", "Nehru" and "Gandhi". There were several rounds of
quiz played between the team, also the students sitting in the audience, also
got opportunity to learn new facts. The questions were based on the lifestyle,
philosophy, various movements and achievements of Mahatma Gandhi. All
the students were given certificates and prizes from Rotary Club of
Ahmedabad Elite. It was an enlightening and learning experience by all.
